I have heard your questions, requests, complaints, and praise. And I decided to do something about it. One thing that is currently stressing ALL parents out right at this very moment at the same time all over the country is one question.
Where are my kids going to go to camp this summer?
Especially for all new families moving into the community and for those who finally have kids who are old enough to attend camp. This guide is for you. It’s for me. It’s for all of us.
Families have different time and budgetary needs, so I made sure to include something for everyone. When I first moved here, there were very few affordable camps for kids. The one that many kids attended happened to be a half day camp in one of our local parks. Reality is that most families do not have summers off or are unable to even pick up their kid at noon.
No worries, there’s something for everyone.
Creating this guide was a labor of love and it was every bit of pleasure to create it. I look forward to growing the guide each year and extending its reach to neighboring communities.
If you would like to include your summer camp into a future issue of the guide, please feel free to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
