Parents are buzzing about summer camp already. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard someone ask in my FB group or online somewhere, “Can anyone recommend a camp with transportation?” or “Where can I send my 4 year old for camp?”
Yes, parents are asking already.
That’s why I’ve decided to put together a free VS Mom Summer Camp Guide just for parents. However, there is a fee for advertisers. I briefly spoke about it during my FB Live over a week ago about how the large camps can afford to pay a lot of money to advertise in the large parenting magazines. But the little guys can’t. It costs a lot, right?
I know local camps that struggle to find kids for this reason, and I know the camps are fun! I recently learned that one mom is turning her love for art into a small summer program to keep children’s creativity flowing.
A few years ago, a teacher who is usually off during the summer wanted to teach Spanish here in the community. I even decided to start a summer enrichment program for girls entering middle school. It’s people like this is who I want to help along with other small/midsize camps.
If you have a camp or know of a camp and would like to advertise it in the VS Mom Summer Camp Guide, you can find information here. If you’re teaching a class for kids or something that would benefit the kids in the surrounding communities, I would love to have your program as well.
I hope you join us!
