Are you ready for the Oscars on Sunday? Have you seen ANY of the movies yet? Better yet, have you thought about what cocktails you’ll be making during the Red Carpet and ceremony?
I’ve seen my fair share of the nominated films and I am here for the Academy Awards….this year. But what better way to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest night of playing dress up and partying until the cows come home than with a good cocktail?
There are so many amazing actors, actresses and movies nominated that we have seen and I can’t wait to see who walks awat with the golden statue of all statues.
Now, about these cocktails. I sampled some of the Cascade Ice Waters and as a person somewhat addicted to the sugar in soda, these sparkling waters are a great substitute.
I would have never thought to use them in cocktails.

This bourbon berry cocktail will get an Oscar in your heart. Start with 3 muddle blackberries (wait…what?) in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and then combine 1 oz of Bourbon, 6 oz of Huckleberry Blackberry Cascade Ice into the shaker. Squeeze one lemon slice into the mixture and then give it a nice stir.
