What a whirlwind month this has been! I haven’t really felt much like writing because there’s been so much going on around us. I’ll share more with you soon, but I just graduated from an online program I took which stretched me business wise allowing me to give birth to a new path. Soon I’ll share….
This month I’ve done sooo much that I want to share with you. Here we go!
Muse Paint Bar
I celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday with a paint party at Muse Paint Bar in Garden City. It was a fun night, a little crowded, but they do have private party rooms in the back. We then went a few doors down to have dinner at a nice swanky restaurant a few doors down. Can’t recall the name, but when I do I’ll let you know.
Soda Can Robots with Morrison Mentors
The kids participated in an activity where they built a soda can robot with Morrison Mentors which was amazing and I look forward to working with them in the future in some capacity.
Brunch at Flour Shoppe Cafe
After church one Sunday, we found ourselves at Flour Shoppe in Rockville Centre which came highly recommended by moms in Valley Stream. Although the space was rather tiny, the food was delicious and the staff super friendly. I had the artichoke omelette. I definitely recommend having brunch there when you can.
Annual Trip to Kalahari
This past weekend, we traveled to Kalahari Resort and Spa for a little wet fun for the 2nd year in a row. We also enjoyed snow tubing, skiing, and snowboarding as we have for the last three years. What I loved most this time is that we were able to drop off each kid at a different ski/boarding program while dad skied and I sat with friends sipping hot chocolate accompanied with great conversation. I booked a Relaxation massage which was nothing short of amazing. It’s a must if you ever go.
That’s what I did this month in a nutshell among a few other things you’ll hear about next month.
In February, I’ll be checking out Pig & Queen in RVC, Glowgolf at Roosevelt Field Mall, and hopefully the new Escape the Room in RVC as well.
Where should I go next?
