Sing and Sign at My Classy Baby was good fun for the kids and parents at the special Valley Stream Mom class. Nine moms registered, but only two showed up including me and Joshua. That could have been because the class was located in the Lynbrook recreation center with no signage, making it very difficult to locate.
Mom Kemi Kuranga-Guzman was joined by her son Gideon who loved the open space and props provided by the instructor Miss Jessica. She was very patient with the kids and allowed them to drift off into playtime while the moms learned the sign lessons. It was great to meet and speak to another mom about all things baby.
Jessica was able to catch the attention of both Gideon, 1 year old, and Joshua, 7 months old, with the songs that go along with the signing lessons. Even though Joshua is only 7 months I think he benefits from being amongst an older child, he enjoyed watching Gideon walk and play.
I would definitely attend another My Classy Baby Sing and Sign class with Miss Jessica at one of the other locations. Your kids would enjoy it.
