“I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for mike’s hard lemonade. I received a Circle K gift card to facilitate this review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.”
You know when you have those days when your kids “take you there” and you have thoughts of sending them to their grandparents to give you some time to get your mind right? I had one of those days recently. The moment the kids were in bed, I was able to enjoy a #mymikesmoment and treat myself to a bottle of mike’s Hard pink lemonade that I picked up earlier from Circle K in Long Beach.
It wasn’t a bad drive and if you don’t want to drive to Long Beach, stop by the closest store in Cabria Heights, or in Great Neck. Being an Ohioan, I found 10 locations near my hometown of Toledo.
It was just what this momma needed to cool me out. It’s light, refreshing and just enough to wet your whistle. I’ve been a fan of mike’s Hard lemonade flavors over the years but sampling mike’s Hard pink lemonade hit the spot. If you’re a lightweight, you’ll enjoy the 5% alcohol content to soothe you a bit.
What’s also good about the mike’s® brand is that they use REAL lemons, the whole lemon including the zest which I’m usually not a fan of but you can’t tell it’s even in the drink. Way to go, Mike!
As a girly girl, I love all thinks pretty and holding this adorable bottle of pink made me feel even girlier. Yes, that’s a word I made up.
As a woman, we all know the significance of October which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. When you drink mike’s Hard pink lemonade, you’re not only treating yourself, but also supporting Breast Cancer Research. It’s a limited edition and you can get it during the month of October.
In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness in October, Mike’s is makinga $250,000 donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in memory of Jacqueline S. who was a part of the Mike’s family since the company was founded. I believe I read online that it’s not donating based on the pink lemonade sales. Since 2009, mike’s® has contributed $1 million to breast cancer research.
Look for this box with the famous pink ribbon on each label which shows support for breast cancer research.
