It’s Friday and the weekend is officially here! Better yet, the weather is supposed to hit 63 degrees and I am excited! If you are not yet a subscriber to my newsletter, well why not? It was delivered this morning, but in case you missed it, I’ll let you know what it was about.
Spring is finally here which can only mean one thing….the calendar is filling up nicely with all sorts of fun and exciting events for families. Whomever said there was nothing to do in Valley Stream certainly has not read this blog! Be sure to check out the calendar for a complete listings of “To Do’s” because I simply can’t list them all here.
If you haven’t noticed, I found 15 full and part-time summer camps right here in Valley Stream with more on the way. I’ll be focusing on camps for toddlers and specialty/unique camps next week so be sure to look out for this. I’m also noticing that Long Island is becoming more friendly for the special needs community. There is a Special Needs Fair in the works later this year, but Long Island Children’s Museum is hosting an Autism friendly theatrical performance, and the Yva Jourdan Foundation is hosting another Special Needs Zumba party April 6th.
Enjoy your weekend!
