Disney On Ice Treasure Trove Meet & Greet
Well, the weekend is here and there are soooo many activities for children it’s absolutely ridiculous. When we first moved here five years ago, I couldn’t find anything for the kids to do. Well, at the time I only had one. Now, it seems like everyone’s doing something for kids. Whether it’s stopping by Lowe’s for their monthly “Build & Grow” series, The Cupcake Corner for their weekend free craft (and a cupcake which I’m sure you’ll want to buy), or heading over to the library for their Saturday events. There’s something to do wherever you look.
Our weekend is going to include Nassau County Night at Disney On Ice “Treasure Trove,” taking the kids to the Gym 4 Kidz Launch Party on Saturday hosted by yours truly. Unfortunately we cannot attend “Jungle Jack’s Live Show” on Saturday, but I’m hoping the ValleyStreamMom.com contest winner will let us know how things go. Unfortunately, The Little Prince has been cancelled. I just found out.
Tonight is Bingo & Pizza Night at Howell Road Elementary School and Central H.S. is hosting their annual Senior Class Talent Show. I’m rooting for Angelica Webster, former Miss Valley Stream Outstanding Teen 2012.
If this doesn’t motivate you to get up and get out with the kiddies, well you just don’t want to be out and I can’t say I blame you. Sometimes you just wanna sit at home and do nothing. Be smart about it and send the kids off on a playdate. Reciprocate the following weekend. Me? I did that last week so this is my weekend to rip and run ’till we go nuts.
